Bishop's Town Hall Meeting
The next Bishop's Town Hall Meeting in the area will be from 7 - 9 pm on Thursday, June 5, at St. Andrew's Encinitas. The Bishop will discuss the forthcoming Lambeth Conference in July.

Servanthood
On Pentecost / Mother's Day, May 11, the Vicar and Tom Mauro hosted the Coffee Hour following our morning service. The ladies have been most faithful in providing tasty morsels and refreshments week after week, so it is appropriate that they be honored on their special day. Evangelism
Operation Homefront Easter Baskets
With help from our friends from neighboring churches we assembled and delivered 65 baskets last March 13. Pictures taken during this activity may be found in our picture gallery. Fox News covered the presentation of these baskets and the baskets provided by other donors to the grateful recipients.

Social Justice
We Care Packages
The Social Justice Ministry is working with the North County Meals on Wheels to provide goodie bags and decorated shoeboxes filled with useful and fun food, toiletries and small personal items. These will be delivered to the seniors on their birthdays and at holiday time. Holy Cross will collect these items as well as the boxes, gift bags , wrapping and tissue paper. If you know any children who would enjoying creating drawings to decorate the bags and boxes, we would be able to use those as well. This will be an on going project and a sample of appropriate items is on display in the Sunday school room just off the Tietge Room. A list of appropriate and non-appropriate items is available at the Church. We will assemble the bags and boxes on an irregular schedule as the collection of items warrants.
