Holy Cross and Congregation B'nai Tikvah will host an interfaith Thanksgiving Eve celebration on Wednesday, November 23 at 5:30 PM (2510 Gateway Road, Carlsbad, 92009). Please join the Rev. Laura Sheridan-Campbell, Rabbi Ben Leinow, Cantor Larry Kornit and guitarist Patrick Lamke as two communities of faith gather in song, story and prayer to recall life's many blessings on the eve of a national holiday. All are welcome!

Welcome

Believe Out Loud Located in Southeast Carlsbad, California, Holy Cross is both a place of sanctuary and a community of "open minds, open arms." We are a welcoming, inclusive, open and affirming Christian congregation whose worship is grounded in the rich Anglican tradition. We range in age from 1 to 101, and are comprised of and reach out to the young and the old, the seasoned and the newcomer, those who are married and divorced, the partnered and the single, widows and widowers, those who identify as straight and those who identify as LGBTQ, those with limited resources and the well-to-do, and persons from any racial, ethnic, cultural or faith background.

Throughout our 30-year history, some of it painful, we have learned what it really means to be a community gathered by God. It is all about unity, and practicing love and forgiveness in a polarized world. At Holy Cross, know that you are granted immunity from the painful ravages of religious bigotry and intolerance, and invited to love and be loved by God who has created us all to be one in a sacred and unbroken unity. This is the same God who calls each of us by name, who accepts us with unconditional love, and who offers what the world can never give - peace that passes all human understanding. Thank you for visiting our site. May God bless you in all things.

Integrity

Report Misconduct
As part of our ongoing commitment to creating a safe haven for everyone, our diocese trains people in the prevention of misconduct and encourages all to report misconduct. All reported incidences are taken seriously and investigated thoroughly and confidentially. If you believe you have experienced misconduct of any kind, please contact Mr. John Seitman, 858-793-4555 or the Rev. Janet Wheelock, 952-240-8067.

... Thank you.
